Using the App
Once your device is paired and approved, Pebble Mobile gives you your whole workspace on your phone. Because everything lives server-side, the app is a window onto the same conversations, notifications, and automations you see on the web — not a separate copy.
Finding your way around
The app uses bottom tabs, in the style of Microsoft Teams:
| Tab | What it’s for |
|---|---|
| Chat | Your PebbleChat conversations — browse, continue, and start new ones |
| Activity | Your notifications stream, the same one as the web |
| Automations | Your background agents — schedules and run history |
| Workspaces | Every workspace you belong to, with live stats |
Alongside the tabs you get a profile drawer (account, workspace switching, settings, sign out), a top bar with search that adapts to whichever tab you’re on, and full dark mode support.
Conversations
The Chat tab is PebbleChat in your pocket. You can:
- Browse your conversation history — the same list as the web sidebar
- Hold live streamed conversations — responses stream in real time, with the Thinking reasoning panel and the activity/tool timeline, just as on desktop
- Pick your model — the model picker works the same way as the web’s model selection
- Stop a response while it’s streaming, then pick the thread back up
- Copy and vote on responses
- Attach files to your messages
Because conversations are server-side, the same history appears everywhere you sign in — and if the app is killed mid-response, reopening it resumes the in-flight turn. See Conversations & History for how conversation history works generally.
LiveApps
LiveApps run right inside the app, in the same locked-down sandbox as on the web. When a conversation has LiveApps open, swipe between the chat and each app — a chip strip along the top (Chat, then a chip per open app) shows where you are and lets you close an app with its ✕.
Other canvas types — Word documents, Markdown and code files — are shown as links on mobile; open them in Pebble on the web to edit.
Switching workspace
Switch workspace from the profile drawer and everything re-scopes — projects, conversations, and stats all update to the workspace you picked. It’s the same model as the web workspace switcher: one account, multiple workspaces, clean separation between them.
The Workspaces page
The Workspaces tab is a feature the web doesn’t have in this form: an at-a-glance dashboard of everything you belong to. It shows a summary card plus, for each workspace:
- Your conversations count
- Your unread notifications
- Your active automations
Each workspace also breaks down into its projects, with per-project conversation and automation counts — handy for spotting where the activity is before you dive in. See Workspaces for the underlying concepts.
Activity — your notifications
The Activity tab is the same notifications stream you see under the bell icon on the web. Archive a notification on your phone and it’s archived on your desktop too — read state is synced across devices, so you never triage the same list twice.
Automations
The Automations tab shows your background agents with schedule detail and run history — check whether last night’s run succeeded without opening a laptop. For what automations are and how to build them, see PebbleAgents.
